virtual disaster loan outreach center/business recovery center

Financial assistance is available for businesses affected by the severe storms, tornadoes and torrential winds that hit South Carolina between April 12 - 13, 2020.  Specific county by county information is listed below.


If your small business or private non-profit (certain non-profits may not meet eligibility requirements) is located in the following counties:

  • Aiken, Barnwell, Berkeley, Colleton, Hampton, Marlboro, Oconee, Orangeburg and Pickens, you may be eligible for both Physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the SBA


If your small business or private non-profit (certain non-profits may not meet eligibility requirements) is located in the below listed adjacent counties:

  • Allendale, Anderson, Bamberg, Beaufort, Calhoun, Charleston, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Darlington, Dillon, Dorchester, Edgefield, Florence, Georgetown, Greenville, Jasper, Lexington, Saluda and Williamsburg, you are eligible to apply for the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan.


To obtain information and loan applications, call the SBA's Customer Service Center number at (800) 659-2955 (1-800-877-8339, for the hearing impaired) or by emailing disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.  You may also download an application at www.sba.gov.  Completed applications should be mailed to:  U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.  If you are filing to request assistance for physical property damage, the deadline is June 30, 2020.  The deadline for returning the economic injury application is February 1, 2021.
